This movie gives a good general idea of what the new terminal will look like.
The interior shots are early renderings, so finishing details, like the color of the carpet and paint, will be different when the building is finished.

In the Great Hall
Now that the weather has dried out a bit work is going gangbusters at the new midfield terminal. This photograph was taken a couple of days ago during a tour. It's taken from the middle of the lobby, looking towards the corridor leading to the concourse area. This should give you a feel for the sheer size of the building.
Meanwhile, Dustin wonders:
"When the new terminal is closer to completion, will there be an open house of any kind for the general public to come in and see the fruits of your labor? Also, from an employee standpoint, what kind of familiarization will there be for the airlines prior to commencing operations?
Yes and Yes. Besides a ribbon cutting ceremony, there will be a public open house. We're just beginning to do the event planning.
Employee orientation will happen, but that, too, is still in the planning stages.

You can see parking lots to the right. Current terminal is above the control tower and across the runways. Downtown is in the upper right quadrant; see the Hammons Tower?
