Shifting Blame
The other shoe drops...
After cancelling hundreds of flights last week, American Airlines is now shifting blame from itself to the Federal Aviation Administration–that's according to the New York Times.
FAA to Airlines: You're "Out of Line With Reality"
Departing Federal Aviation (FAA) administrator Marion Blakey says airlines need to reduce their schedules or possibly face government action. She says she's "particularly concerned about overcrowded skies and airports along the East Coast, saying "if the airlines don't address this voluntarily, don't be surprised when the government steps in."
