American Woes Expected to Continue Thursday

md80.jpgLate this afternoon American Airlines said it expects to cancel more than 900 Thursday flights due to the on-going inspections of its MD-80 jets. Today's official cancellation count stands 1,094. If you're  leaving Springfield tomorrow, expecting to catch an American connecting flight at Dallas/Ft. Worth or Chicago O'Hare, expect the worst.

The New York Times has the story covered.
